Let Us Introduce You to Our Sage Farm Summer Camp!

       Every summer we provide a unique learning experience for children starting at age 7. What more could a child want but to combine summer camp with horses? We offer a five day camp from 9 AM to 12:30 PM, Monday through Friday during the summer vacation. Children learn about building a partnership between the horse and rider.  They also learn basic horsemanship both on and off the horse.  Camp costs $475 per week including a non-refundable deposit of $175. Full payment is due on or before the first day of camp.
 What to bring:      - An ASTM approved riding helmet        - Leather paddock boots      - Snack and drink      - Long pants for riding We do have some helmets and boots for campers.  Call about equipment availability and sizes
Horsemanship activities include:
       -Daily horse care
       -Parts of the horse
       -Tacking up
       -Basic horsemanship skills
       -Games and much more!

During the daily group riding lesson students will learn
       - Basic position of the rider or "equitation"
       -Development of balance
       -Communication skills between horse and rider
       - The application of the natural aids

Week five: July 30 -August 3
Week six: August 6-10
Week seven:  August 13-17
Week eight: August 20-24


To register you must mail in registration and release form with your non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of $175.  The remaining balance of $300 is due on or before the first day of camp.  When we receive your registration, release form, and $175 deposit; we will send you a conformation card in the mail.

Dover Saddlery has discounted Summer Camp packages in their retail store in Wellesley Center.  If you are purchasing your own camp equipment stop by there store for special camp packages!
