Brian is the owner of Sage Farm. He has been a licensed Massachusetts Riding Instructor since 1991. He attended the University of Massachusetts Equine program for two years, and has been training and showing all his life. Although running the farm takes most of his time, he still makes time to teach and train on a limited basis. Brian has earned his USDF Bronze and Silver medals.

Jean is another of our wonderful part time instructors. Jean often teaches for other instructors on their sick days or if they are out of town. Jean's been teaching and riding at the farm since 2004. It's a real treat to ride with such an enthusiastic instructor! Jean also owns one horse at Sage, Polly.

Laura is a licensed Massachusetts horseback riding instructor. She has competed in dressage competition through the Prix St. George level. She is a USDF Bronze and Silver medalist. Laura is a lifetime horsewoman who grew up riding and training horses and has had horses competing here at Sage Farm since 2004. You won't find a more experienced instructor to help you with your riding!

Becky has been our Barn Manager at Sage Farm since 2014. She is an experienced rider and full-time horsewoman! Becky graduated from Johnson and Wales University with an Equine Management/Riding degree with a concentration in Operations Management. Becky was a successful member of JWU's IDA Team at school. She enjoys riding Marshal, a resident horse here at the farm. Becky lives on the farm with her dog, Bonnie.

Sophie is a licensed Massachusetts riding instructor who has been with us since 2017. Over the years here at Sage Farm she has become a very popular teacher. She is adored by her students and she is a respected horsewoman by her colleagues. Sophie has competed through fourth level in dressage competition and is an exceptionally talented rider.

Julia is our delightful Assistant Barn Manager and has been with us since 2018. Her calm, steady energy radiates. She is 100% dedicated to her horses, clients, and colleagues.
